Overview

Suite of data hubs supporting Customer Care and Aftersales business functions including Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics, Sales, Service and Battery Lifecycle. Extensively used by data analysts to produce various KPIs to support Aftersales and Battery Lifecycle Business Operations.

  • Customer Care Aftersales Decision Analytics (CCADA):

    • The CCA Decision Analytics suite consists of a large data warehouse and multiple front ends that serves various CCA functional areas.

    • Daily Sales Report (SRT): Provides CCA daily sales reporting through web interface (used by internal GM and Field reps)

    • PASE: Web application that collects and measures existing metrics on dealer performance and calculates dealer incentives.

    • Risk Analysis: Used by Supply Chain management to support the workflow of creating part disposition analysis requests, analyzing and assigning part disposition recommendations, and tracking the part disposition action plans.

    • SMARTWEB: Web App that allows CCA users to write SQL statements and pull data from the data warehouse.

  • Aftersales Transactional Data Store (ATDS):

    • Sources and consolidates data from various CCA global data sources

    • Serves as Operational Data Store (ODS) to support downstream CCA and Supply Chain applications

    • Supports operational reporting with near real-time data needs

    • Supports Aftersales Gateway services

  • End User Computing (EUC):

    • Data mart is used by GM Customer Care and Aftersales (CC&A) as an end-user computing system for customers to generate AD-Hoc queries for a variety of reports.

    • Primarily serves USCA Mainframe data refreshed daily

  • Inventory Tracking & Control (ITC):

    • Collection of inventory and sales-related data stored in a centralized repository and readily accessible to the entire CCA enterprise.

    • Inventory Transactions (loaded daily) - An Inventory Transaction describes the historical movement of SPO-owned inventory.

    • Inventory Balances (loaded twice a month) - Inventory Balances represent balance quantities for SPO-owned inventory. The data is divided into various inventory subsets. All values represent unit quantities

    • Materials & Returns (loaded monthly) - Sales and Returns information is fed from Invoicing and contains records where part number is included

  • Business Process Support Planning Center (BPSPC/BPS):

    • Consolidated data from RIM, EUC, Mainframe supporting Aftersales Supply Chain Business function

    • Supports data for the reduction of back-order and increase in System-Fill.

  • Aftersales Engineering Vault:

    • Primary data repository for aftersales vehicle information, encompassing both as-built configurations and as-maintained changes throughout the vehicle's lifecycle.

    • Primary data repository for aftersales battery information

    • Primary data source for Aftersales Services Gateway APIs consumed by aftersales enterprise applications

    • Consolidated data from GPDHUB, GSPAS, GEPICS, Flexnet, SAVI, US external partners (ATC, LabelMaster, SNT, Honda), and regional external partners

    • Supports business operations for remanufacturing and recycling of EV batteries in the US and other regions

    • Supports business operations for vehicle service management, electronic key code management, service authoring, Part Traceability

GM’s PIA tool helps to identify, assess, and mitigate privacy risks associated with a particular product or service—especially when it collects, uses, stores, or shares personal data.
