Facility

Facilities (otherwise known as Infrastructure & Corporate Citizenship) encompasses both the Infrastructure Domain and the Mobile Equipment Domain as well as Facilities

Overview​

Centralized data for plant characteristics, construction, and maintenance.

The Infrastructure Domain is responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and optimization of GM’s physical assets and facilities

The Mobile Equipment team is responsible for managing and maintaining GM’s fleet of mobile assets, including vehicles and machinery

The Facilities Domain is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing GM’s buildings and workspaces to ensure safe, efficient operations across all campuses. It oversees facility services, space planning, and infrastructure improvements that support employee productivity and operational excellence.

Getting Access​

All requests to access GM data must be reviewed and approved by GM’s privacy team via the Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) tool. GM’s PIA tool helps to identify, assess, and mitigate privacy risks associated with a particular product or service—especially when it collects, uses, stores, or shares personal data. If a PIA has not been approved for your use case, you can submit one using the link: epia.gm.com.
