GFAM Cognos Field Action ReportingGFAM (Global Field Action Management) reporting suite provides common global reporting solution to monitor completion of field actions on a global scale. It combines recall data from GFAM (Global Field Action Management) application with general and warranty data from GART (Global Analysis Reporting Tool) to calculate recall fulfillment rates. Both summary and VIN level reports are available to monitor progression of a recall for stock and sold vehicles, including performance by Dealer and reporting to Government Agencies. Dealer Reports and Fleet Reports are available to help with vin inventory for recall. Users have ability to use multiple filters to narrow down their selection of recall data.Thelma GillickEdison Williams III51534
GFAM Tableau Field Action ReportingGFAM Tableau is the interactive dashboard layer for completion tracking, scorecards, and end-to-end field action monitoring. It's narrower than Cognos, easier for status/trend views, and built on a handful of Databricks-backed extracts rather than a huge report catalog. At a high level, these dashboards answer questions such as: (1) how many vehicles are affected, actionable, completed, or still open, (2) how is completion trending by country, business unit, make/model/model year, and field action type, and (3) how are field actions progressing end to end over time?Thelma GillickSylvia Kader51534
New! GFAM QDAP Population AppThe Safety centered QDAP Population reports provides many different dynamic filtering options for product investigations and the system produces the vehicle population stock sold summary, production detail and vin list outputs for downstream investigation or reporting.Thelma GillickChristian Anthony152936
Command Center Power BI ReportingGlobal Vehicle Safety Lifecycle is a repository of reports that supports GM Safety Product Investigation and Emerging Issues. The Vehicle Safety Command Center provides the Global Vehicle Safety Team with the capability to analyze multiple data sources independently or in an integrated manner across Make, Model, Model Year, Platform, as well as safety hazards, in order to uncover emerging potential vehicle safety issues for further investigation and follow-up. This repository also contains other reports that help investigators and data analysts identify hazards, labor codes used, and other safety issues reported to NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration).Matt GedrisMatt Gedris55947
Emerging Analytics: Power BI ReportingThe Emerging Analytics workspace is the production Power BI environment for the broader Product Safety portfolio. Its reports support the identification of emerging safety issues, product investigations, and recall-effectiveness monitoring. The workspace also uses RAPTR, an NLP-based machine-learning capability, to analyze free-form customer verbatim text from sources such as VOQ, GART, and TREAD and classify it into predefined safety-hazard categories.Jenn Nash-152936
Emerging Issues: Tableau Hazard Monitor ReportingVehicle Safety Emerging Analytics is GM's Safety reporting and dashboard layer for identifying emerging issues, supporting product investigations, and monitoring recall effectiveness. It uses RAPTR, an NLP-based machine learning capability, to read free-form customer verbatim text from sources like VOQ, GART, and TREAD and classify it into predefined safety hazard categories. These outputs feed the Hazard Monitor, an interactive dashboard that tracks Repairs Per Thousand Vehicles (RPTV) by build month or months in service, with filtering by MMY, model, year, and country of sale. Together, these tools help analysts quickly identify vehicle populations that may be showing exposure to potential safety hazards.Jamall Farrackand-152936
OnStar Power BI ReportingThe OnStar workspace hosts Vehicle Safety Analytics reports supporting OnStar crash and AACN PII reports and dashboards. This workspace contains reports and dashboards for analyzing emergency services activity and related vehicle data. To protect sensitive information, vehicle identification numbers (VINs) are masked by default and access to VIN-level details is controlled through row-level security.Chris ReszewskiBeverley Stankiewicz152936
Safety Search ApplicationSafety Search is a browser-based application that helps product and safety investigators find and analyze vehicle safety information from dealer reports, government agencies, and other structured and unstructured data sources. It uses text analytics, ontology models, and pattern/anomaly detection to identify relationships, correlations, and potential safety trends across a large data repository. The application supports investigations that may lead to recalls, technical service bulletins, engineering or manufacturing changes, and other safety actions. It serves as the investigator-focused search engine within GM's broader safety ecosystem, complementing GVS-CORE, which manages cases through emerging issues, product investigations, and field-action execution.Nicholas MatziukNicholas Matziuk152936
