Product Safety
Overview
This program brings together a wide range of structured and unstructured safety-related data to support end-to-end product safety monitoring, investigation, and decision-making. It integrates multiple sources of customer verbatims, including customer complaints, warranty narratives, technical assistance cases, survey feedback, and complaints submitted to government agencies, alongside detailed warranty claim data such as labor operations, part numbers, repair details, and failure trends. It also incorporates connected vehicle and telemetry data, including DTCs, DIDs, crash notifications, and other vehicle signals, to provide earlier visibility into emerging issues and field performance. Together, these data sources enable key safety business processes such as Safety Field Investigations, hazard monitoring, recall identification and effectiveness tracking, and recall remedy development, while supporting faster issue detection, deeper root-cause analysis, and more informed risk-based decision-making.
